As we prepared for updates in BrownHeritage, we have received encouraging remarks and comments about our new web site. We thank everyone who thought like us that we need positive news about our culture, and hopefully this served as an inspiration to most Filipinos not only in the Philippines but all over the world. A lot of good things are happening around the world, and we encourage everyone to send their writings, so that they become part of BrownHeritage. I know this would mean time and resources for you, but it might be worth it as we document what makes us different as well as special. If your time does not permit you to write an article or you want somebody to write it, do drop us a note, and if the lead fits our web site, we will have someone write the article.
We have checked on our log sheet and realized that our unique visitors are indeed from all over the world. They come from different places with 90 per cent coming from all over the world. But of course, there are times when it predominantly comes from the Philippines. We are getting traffic from all over.
We welcome contributors - they can be anywhere in the world, with something to say about our rich heritage and about its people. There were also inquiries if we can also include articles even of other nationalities who are related or married to Filipinos. By all means, this is welcome because we recognize the rich diversity we have as a people. You don't need to speak Filipino to be considered as one, as long as you are involved with its culture and involved with issues and events that promote Filipinos from anywhere in the world.
